This is the table that the Commissioner of the Queen, Wim van de Donk, received as a welcome gift. At this table, the Commissioner will talk and discuss with guests during his tenure about issues that arise in the province. These conversations help to formulate the agenda for Brabant.
The table consists of two lightweight frames and a retractable blade. The blade is made of wooden battens which are connected to each other and with embroidery. This embroidery is groing: new icons and texts will be added, according to the subject topics under discussion.
The embroidered table symbolizes Brabant values as industry, trade, industry, innovation and design.
